Mounting Bracket for Inverter, intended for Volkswagen Westfalia. Bracket mounts under the rear seat of the van. For many vans, the Engine ECU will need to be relocated, as it also mounts under the seat.
MOUNTING BRACKET (Inverter) - WESTFALIA
The Mounting Bracket provides a quick and efficient method to install your inverter under the Westfalia rear seat. The bracket is intended for use with the Victron MultiPlus Compact inverter, however, the universal design can be used on numerous types of inverters as well. The mounting bracket can be affixed to the floor of the van by the 4x mounting holes, and SS self tapper screws provided.
The mounting brackets are easy to install, requiring use of general hand tools. The primary mounting bracket is made of lightweight 6061 aluminum. In additional all of the included mounting hardware and fasteners are constructed of stainless steel, ensuring long lasting life.
Many Westfalia vans have engine ECU's mounted under the rear seat as well. Should the ECU be mounted under the rear seat, we recommend relocating it to the rear of the van. There are generally 2x or 3x unused battery mounting compartments that make great ECU mounting locations.
