Solar Panel mounting bracket with 1" rise. Bracket mounts directly to the roof rails on Sprinter, Transit, etc. These brackets can be used to directly install the solar panel from the roof rails, or may be used to install additional mounting hardware.
Z MOUNTING BRACKET - 1" RISER (4-PACK)
The 4-Pack Mounting Bracket Kit provides a quick and efficient method to install your solar panel. The universal design can be used on numerous types of vehicles, RVs, and other applications. The mounting brackets work especially well with 175W solar panels (approx 21" x 42") when mounting to vans with roof rails. The slotted holes allow for slight variations in roof width, and solar panel size.
The mounting brackets are easy to install, requiring use of general hand tools. The primary mounting brackets and dual squarenuts are made of steel constructions, painted black. In additional all of the included mounting hardware and fasteners are constructed of stainless steel, ensuring long lasting life.
The brackets are designed to mount low to the roof, with a low 1" rise, to keep wind resistance low. It is importand to measure the dome rise on your application, to ensure that 1" is a large enough rise that the solar panel does not contact the roof when installed. (Please be aware that higher rise brackets are available).
